Description

As an IT Technical Intern, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience supporting the delivery of reliable and efficient technology services across the business. Working alongside experienced IT professionals, you'll provide technical support to end users and contribute to maintaining the hardware, software, and systems that enable our business to operate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to end users and assist in resolving day-to-day IT queries.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Assist with setting up workstations, laptops, printers, point-of-sale devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Support user account administration and system access requests. Assist with IT asset management, including the issuing, tracking, and recovery of equipment.
  • Monitor and escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Participate in system updates, patching, and maintenance activities. Assist with documenting support procedures, configuration changes, and knowledge articles.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service and support.

Qualifications

  • An N6 National Certificate in: Information Technology
  • Systems Support
  • Computer Systems
  • Technical Support
  • or a related field.
